Our Mission
The Arizona Community Behavioral Health Services Fund is a registered non-profit organization with the state of Arizona.

The mission of the Arizona Community Behavioral Health Services Fund is to develop resources that support access to behavioral health services, especially for persons facing systematic barriers to behavioral health care.

As we endeavor to establish the resources of the Fund, we are creating the infrastructure to be able to facilitate the process of accessing care through our Network of African American Behavioral Health Providers. This network will extend the service of connecting community members to behavioral health care appropriate to their level of need. When this access is hindered by barriers of cost or availability the network will work specifically to work around them.

Our priority in the use of these funds is to subsidize direct care by providing payment to providers for care being rendered to established patients who are unable to afford the service through their personal insurance coverage options or they are uninsured.

Many mental health support organizations provide education, training, and community awareness campaigns but few provide money for care to providers of choice. This is a specific and unique need of our community and one the fund aims to satisfy.

Community members who demonstrate motivation for treatment and are matched with a provider will be asked to complete a request for financial support or sliding scale fees available. The organization will evaluate each request with confirmation from the treating provider for services before issuing benefits.

Additionally, the Fund will develop web-based resources from general information about how to access behavioral health care as well as training activities and community activities that support and encourage positive interactions between providers and community members.

The Fund will be accepting tax-deductible donations from private, business, and other non-profit organizations through gifts in kind and grants to support our efforts. Use the links provided to make your donation today.
